My friend and colleague, Randy Ponzio passed away November, 2011.  Just as his career was about to explode, having opened for Ziggy and Ky-Mani Marley, he went missing and was found a few days later.  The Vancouver community has been terribly saddened by this loss but his spirit lives on.  He leaves behind many friends and family who will miss him dearly, including three beautiful children.  There is a fund set up in his name that will collect all money from CD sales and fundraisers to help support his kids now and into the future.

Randy Ponzio was a friend, father, son, grandson, nephew, partner, musician, producer and humanitarian.  He loved people and his vision was far beyond the scope of how most people look at the world.  I am realizing this more and more as I read articles, listen to friends stories and sit with his music.  He was passionate about love, peace, foundation and family.  His music reflects his true spirit.  His legacy will live on forever....
