                    Music's Higher Purpose... 05/12/2010

Music has a higher purpose.  You just have to listen and pay attention.  Look around you.  Watch peoples' faces when the music begins.  Take notice of how eyes light up, smiles appear and bodies move.  Nothing else has the ability to do this to human beings.  You cannot put a person in a space, turn on music, and have no reaction. Now of course, we all have musical preferences but seriously folks... chances are that life for all of us would become less enjoyable and far less interesting without this very precious gift.

So the next time you listen to music, try to appreciate it for what it is.  For it has a soul, breath, emotion and life form... listen carefully...it will speak to you on some level.  And you will not be the same person you were before the music played!

I fully and completely agree with your writings. It has been the focus of very inspirational conversation these days. Right down to the roll that each musician on the stage plays and how it allows the listener to travel on so so many ventures simultaneously... with strong writing and true words then can you relay truth and love... aaaaaahhhhhh good one Jesse.
